Motifv, the project of Colorado native Joseph Kechter, is a producer known for his analog-inspired, sample-based approach to electronic music—blending gospel and soul with futuristic synths and experimental bass. Since his debut album The Path (2019) and follow-up Dilated Mind (2021), he has built a devoted following through immersive, genre-bending sound design and introspective storytelling, continuing that evolution through his 2024 dual EP release Where the Sun Sets / Behind the Moon and his 2025 trilogy EP series Alpine Echos, Busy with the Wizardry, and Drift Theory.

Motifv has emerged as a rising force in the electro-soul scene, performing alongside Pretty Lights, Daily Bread, GRiZ, and Maddy O’Neal, with festival appearances at Secret Dreams, Wakaan, Hulaween, and more.
